Guide

Getting the most from the qr code generator

PNG or SVG?

PNG is great for screens, social posts and documents. SVG is a vector file that stays sharp at any size — best for print, signage and packaging.

Contrast matters

Keep a dark foreground on a light background with strong contrast. Inverted or low-contrast codes can fail to scan on some phones.

Error correction

Higher levels let a code survive damage or a small logo on top, at the cost of a denser pattern. Medium is a sensible default.

Leave a quiet zone

The blank margin around a code helps scanners find it. Keep at least two modules of margin, more for print.
