Plans, upgrades and cancellations
How subscriptions, renewals, failed payments and cancellations work.
Updated
Upgrading. Open Dashboard → Billing, choose a plan and billing period, and complete checkout with our payment provider. Your new features turn on once the payment provider confirms the payment to us. That usually takes a few seconds.
Payment providers. Payments are processed by Razorpay (India) or Stripe. Ontu never sees or stores your full card details.
Renewals. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
Failed payments. If a renewal fails, your plan stays active for a short grace period while the provider retries. If payment still can't be collected, your account returns to the Free plan's limits. Your pages and data are kept.
Cancelling. Click Cancel subscription in Billing. You keep paid features until the end of the period you've paid for, then return to Free.
Downgrading. If you have more pages than the Free plan allows, nothing is deleted, but you won't be able to create or publish more until you're within your limits. Premium options in your draft must be changed before republishing.
See our Refund Policy for refunds.
